The Dialplan menu decides what happens to a call once it has reached the PBX: which numbers ring several phones, which play a menu, how calls are routed outside office hours, and which feature codes phone users can dial during a call.
Most objects here (applications, call groups, IVR menus) have an internal number and can also be chosen as the destination of a provider’s incoming route. All numbers share one numbering plan with the phones: a number can only be used once. The available destination types are explained under Destinations.
Applications
Small dialplan programs reachable by a number, including the built-in test and service numbers.
Call Groups
Ring several phones at once or one after another under one number.
IVR Menus
Auto attendant menus: an announcement, then one destination per key.
Business Hours
Route calls to one destination while open and to another while closed, with holidays, special periods, an out-of-office key and a manual switch.
Transfers & Parking
Feature codes for transferring, picking up and ending calls, the call parking numbers and how numbers with a leading + are dialled.
